Labour shortages, global crises, demographic change and epidemics – there are countless reasons why employers have been focusing more and more on the health and well-being of their employees for more than a few years now. Today, in particular, remaining competitive and fit for the future is an essential part of business. Whether you're a major corporation, medium-sized enterprise or something a bit smaller – Occupational health management is a crucial part of running a successful business, according to decision-makers in management and HR positions, as well as OHM experts themselves. Indicators such as the Return on Prevention (ROP) combined with integrating a successful health programme into a management system confirm this theory.
And when it comes to setting up a comprehensive, professional Corporate Health Management programme, working with external providers is indispensable. Over the years, this has given rise to a wide market of service providers who save countless OHM officers from the "agony of choice" by initiating the costly and time-consuming process of looking for suitable partners.
"On a fast-growing labour and health market, the Top Brand Corporate Health certification offers a quick way to identify reliable partners," says Joshua Baaken, Head of Project Management & Expert Committees at EUPD Research. "These providers are selected according to a binding set of standards and help employers improve the outcomes of their OHM for happier, healthier employees."
Awarded by EUPD Research, this quality seal relies on practice-based nominations from OHM experts of the best and healthiest employers in Germany who have their own Occupational Health Management system. These organisations get the chance to prove their expertise in working with providers of return to work initiatives and and OHM as part of the Corporate Health Awards . These nominations are then reviewed by the Top Brand expert committee, comprised of Germany's leading experts from academia, health insurance, healthcare and professional associations. This committee scores all healthcare providers according to the following five aspects: "Quality of service", "Quality of employees", "Cost structure" and "Likelihood of recommendation". This is followed by an audit by Prof Volker Nürnberg, partner at BearingPoint and chair of the expert committee, in order to verify the healthcare providers nominated for Top Brand Corporate Health.
As one of the first organisations to have won Top Brand on three separate occasions, INSITE-Interventions GmbH was nominated again this year and passed its audit successfully to cement its status as a Top Brand. For the third year running, INSITE-Interventions GmbH's Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) beat out thousands of service providers to be crowned Top Brand Corporate Health. Steffen Klink, COO of EUPD Research, congratulated INSITE, saying, "A target group of nearly 400,000 employees and more than 23 years working with the biggest names in Germany – we are thrilled to crown INSITE-Interventions GmbH winners again this year, they truly are an EAP specialist."
